At Baralaba State School we are committed to delivering the Australian Curriculum for our students. We use three layers of curriculum planning—whole school curriculum plan; year level curriculum plans; unit level curriculum planning—to support the implementation of this curriculum and to support our students' learning needs and interests.
Our Whole School Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Plan (WSC&RP) (PDF, 1.1MB) provides an outline of the curriculum offered in Kindy to Year 10. This WSC&RP achieves the aims of the P-12 Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework by:
- providing students with the required curriculum
- assessing, monitoring and capturing student achievement
- setting high expectations for each student and by responding effectively to their current levels of achievement and differing rates of learning
- providing feedback to parents and students around the student's achievement throughout the school year.
